My name is Madeleine (aka Madi), and I am an Australian indie author currently working on my debut novel.

My work explores the power of music, memory, self-acceptance, family, grief and a love that transcends time itself.

Known for my bookstagram content under the name @one.orange.patch.reads, I am an avid reader, reviewer and collector of all things cosy and whimsical, who finds joy in sharing my passion for books with an incredible online community of book besties.

My debut novel, Both Sides Now, is set to release on November 14th, 2026.

I live in Newcastle, on the east coast of Australia, with my many books, sourdough starter Sezzy and (perhaps) excessive collection of coffee mugs.
